Ready to add a handmade touch to your Christmas? In this festive patchwork special, you'll use a free-form approach to design and make a unique patchwork piece that will become the front of a beautiful Christmas stocking.
We'll begin by exploring inspiration and a creative free-form approach to your patchwork design. You'll then use a pattern to cut the stocking shape, before sewing up an outer and lining layer to finish your stocking — ready to hang by the fire.

Is This Course For You?
This workshop is perfect if you have some basic sewing experience. You'll need to be able to use a sewing machine confidently, but no quilting experience is necessary.
What to Bring:
A piece of non-stretch fabric for the stocking back (approx. 40cm x 70cm). An old shirt is a nice way to recycle here— your finished stocking will be approximately 35cm x 65cm
Optional: two or three special non-stretch fabric pieces you'd love to include — these could be scraps from home, old clothes, or fabrics bought especially
What We Provide:
A sewing machine for you to use (or use your own!)
All the threads you'll need
A wide and wonderful variety of scrap fabrics to work with alongside your own
All the necessary tools, such as scissors and rotary cutters
Pattern pieces
